What Do I Write?
In the children’s genre, I write Picture Books, Chapter Books, and Middle Grade stories built around three core themes:
stories that make kids laugh, feel, and belong.
Laughter is the secret ingredient in my stories. It pulls kids in, keeps them hooked, and makes reading feel like play. My favorite part? Dreaming up funny, quirky characters who can’t help but make you smile.
Humor gets the laughs, but heart is what stays with you. I love weaving both into my stories.
Inclusion is personal to me, because of my son and career as a special education teacher. I write stories where kids of all abilities belong—where they simply are, just like every other character in the adventure.
